     1.     Let’s talk about tourism. How do you prefer to travel: alone, with your parents or with your friends?

Nowadays travelling is an important part of modern life. People travel to see other countries and their sights, to discover new things and other ways of life, to meet different people, taste different food, visit museums and art galleries.

Some people travel for business or just for pleasure. So, it’s difficult to imagine modern life without travelling.

Nowadays people can travel in different ways: on foot, by train, by plane, by ship or by car. People choose the way of travelling according to their likes and financial possibilities. All means of travelling have their advantages and disadvantages.

Travelling by air is the most convenient but the most expensive. Travelling by train is slower but you enjoy the comfort and pleasure of relaxation. Travelling by car you don’t need to buy tickets and you can plan your trip.

I think travelling with friends is more interesting than travelling with parents. You have common interests and views with your friends. You can go to a club or a café, you can have fun, chat and meet other teenagers. Parents are strict. But there are some advantages in travelling with parents. Parents have more money and they can help when you get into trouble.

     2.     Is it better to choose a guided tour or organize a trip by yourself? Why?

Travelling alone or with a guide is a personal choice. If you are a first-time traveler, you’d better start with a guided tour. Guided tours are very convenient as everything is arranged for you by a tour agency. When you travel alone, you can plan your tour.

     3.     You are going camping for a week. What questions will you ask an experienced camper?

1.     Do you like camping?

2.     How often do you go camping?

3.     What should I take with me?

4.     Would you like to go camping with me?

5.     Where should I go?

     4.     Your American friend wants to visit Belarus. Which places will you advise him/ her to visit?

There are a lot of places of interest in Belarus. You should visit Nesvizh. There is a castle in this town. You should visit Belovezhskaya Puscha to see European bison there. You should visit Minsk – the capital of Belarus.

     5.     An ancient Chinese philosopher and write Lao Tzu said: “A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent on arriving.” What do you think about it?

When you travel independently, you can get up when you want, go where you want and do what you want. You can enjoy your travelling. You can change your direction at any time and it is relaxation.
