     1.     Let’s talk about your future career. What kind of job do you want to have in the future?

Nowadays good education means a good job.

I am leaving school soon and I’m thinking about possible careers and jobs. It’s very difficult to choose your future career because there are many alternatives and you don’t know where to start.

We usually say that all roads are open before our school-leavers. While at school I have changed my mind a lot of times.

Some pupils choose their future profession under the influence of their parents or friends. In my opinion, the final choice should depend on what you are interested in. For me, interesting and creative work is the most important thing. I want to enjoy my work and get satisfaction from it. And at the same time I would like to have a well-paid job.

I made my choice last year. I want to be a doctor. This is an interesting and noble profession. I want to help people who face health problems. Doctors should be kind and attentive to people. It’s one of the greatest professions in the world.

In conclusion I should say that working is the best way through which people can be helpful and they can enjoy life.

     2.     Is foreign language proficiency important for your future job? Why or why not?

No, it isn’t. I don’t need to take English tests to enter the university. I want to be a doctor and I need to take tests in Chemistry and Biology.

     3.     What questions will you ask your friend who has decided to follow in his/ her parents’ footsteps?

1.     Why do you like this job?

2.     How much is the salary?

3.     Who told you about this job?

4.     Do you need to know English to get this job?

5.     How long will your working day be? 

     4.     Give me some advice on how to create a positive impression on the employer at a job interview.

If you want to create a good impression at a job interview you should enter the room with a friendly smile. You should look at the person you are talking to. You should dress smartly and formally.

     5.     Some people think that it is necessary to have good communication skills in order to get a good job. What do you think about it?

Nowadays people want to have a well-paid and interesting job. But it’s necessary to have good communication skills to get a good job. We meet a lot of people every day and we need to be friendly, polite and understanding.
