     1.     Let’s talk about your future career. What do you want to do in the future?

Nowadays good education means a good job.

I am leaving school soon and I’m thinking about possible careers and jobs. It’s very difficult to choose your future career because there are many alternatives and you don’t know where to start.

We usually say that all roads are open before our school-leavers. While at school I have changed my mind a lot of times.

Some pupils choose their future profession under the influence of their parents or friends. In my opinion, the final choice should depend on what you are interested in. For me, interesting and creative work is the most important thing. I want to enjoy my work and get satisfaction from it. And at the same time I would like to have a well-paid job.

I made my choice last year. I want to be a doctor. This is an interesting and noble profession. I want to help people who face health problems. Doctors should be kind and attentive to people. It’s one of the greatest professions in the world.

In conclusion I should say that working is the best way through which people can be helpful and they can enjoy life.

     2.     Do you prefer to work by yourself or in a team? Why?

Some people like to work independently, while others would prefer to work in a team. It depends on personal traits and working environment.

I prefer to work in a team. There are many advantages of working in a team as teamwork challenges our abilities, makes work more efficient, gives valuable experience, develops the skills of communication and cooperation.

     3.     What questions do you expect from your future employer at a job interview?

1.     Why do you want to have this job?

2.     Do you work well in a team?

3.     What qualifications have you got?

4.     Do you speak English?

5.     Are you an active person?

     4.     Give me some advice on what I need to think about when choosing a job.

It’s very difficult to choose your future career because there are many alternatives and you don’t know where to start. You should think what you are interested in. You should know about the reality of your future job. You should consider all pros and cons. And I wish you good luck.

     5.     Some people think that an applicant should be computer literate to get a good job. What do you think about it?

More and more people use computers in their work and it’s necessary to have computer skills to get a good job. Computers are important in different spheres of life: politics, culture, business. We should know how to find necessary information in the Internet or how to prepare a video presentation, how to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, send and read e-mails, download documents.
