The Belarusian climate

 Summers in Belarus have become very hot.

Heatwaves are common here.

It's difficult to predict what the weather will be in summer.

Sometimes people suffer from lack of rain in summer, whenit's extremely hot, temperatures break all records and rise to 40°C.

Autumn comes late at the end of September.

Days become shorter and nights become longer.

Winter is a contrast to hot summers.

The weather is usually frosty, cold, windy and sometimes sunny.

There are different kinds of sports that you can do in winter in Belarus: skiing, skating, sledging.

Spring comes in March.

Snow starts melting away fast. 

The weather in spring is different. It can be frosty in March and very hot in May.

There are a lot of flowers in spring.
