Belarus

 Belarus lies in eastern Europe, between Poland and Russia. 

The area of Belarus is more than 200 thousand square kilometres. 

The population of the country is about ten million people. 

The capital of the Republic of Belarus is Minsk. 

The population of Minsk is about two million people.

The national symbols of Belarus are national flag, national emblem, national anthem and national costume.

There are three colours on our flag: green  red and white.

Cornflower is the symbol of Belarusian fields.

White stork is the symbol of luck.

Bison is the symbol of Belovezhskaya Puscha.

Belarus is famous for its beautiful nature. 

Belarusian people are proud of their country.
