 Polly's story

Polly is 15 and at the moment she doesn't care very much about anything except clothes. She's only interested in what is in fashion. She spends most of her parents' money on brightly coloured shirts and tight skirts.

She is very proud of them and most people comment on them when they see her. She has no difficulty in finding the clothes she wants because her sister works in a boutique. Polly visit this boutique every day when her sister is at work. Polly thinks she has very good taste for clothes, but her mother thinks she looks awful. "It's all a question of taste", she says, "and there's no arguing about tastes, is there?"
